Software is getting cheaper. Watch it happen.

Here is a number worth sitting with: one broker for agent tools, Treg, lists 4,100+ API endpoints from 126 providers and charges 0% on top of the provider's own rate. We checked on 2026-11-05. That is what the floor of the software market looks like now.

The middle is collapsing

Reselling API calls used to be a business. Now several brokers do it at cost. When the plumbing is free, a single call is worth roughly what the provider charges for it, and nothing more. Good. That is what a working market does to a commodity.

Nineteen providers sell backlinks

Nineteen providers sell backlink data. Nine sell email lookup. When nine companies sell the same thing, the price an agent should pay is the lowest one that works, and the agent can check that before every call. A human with a subscription never re-shops. An agent can re-shop every time.

What this means if you build with agents

  • Stop renting seats for one run. If your agent needs Crunchbase once a week, the subscription is the expensive path. The call is the cheap one.
  • Expect prices to fall. Our own social posting already falls with volume: €0.10, €0.07, €0.04 a post. Every price on our board is built to go one way: ↘.
  • Compose. When primitives get cheap they become fuel. Search data plus enrichment plus posting is a launch workflow no single SaaS sells.

The market continues

We don't need incumbents to die. We need the market to widen: a market beneath subscriptions where agents buy any capability at the price of one use, and anyone can list a cheaper one. When someone undercuts us, we will say so on the board.

Software is getting cheaper. We are building the place where you can watch it happen, and buy at the bottom. See the catalog →
