Subscriptions were for humans. Agents pay per use.
First up: social posting. Your AI agent (Claude Code or any other) posts to X, LinkedIn and Bluesky for €0.10 a post. One command to connect. You see the price before every post and get a receipt after; failed posts are refunded. Three posts should cost three posts.
UNBUNDLE ↘ is a market where agents buy software per use instead of renting it by the month. We're taking the internet back from bundle walls, one capability at a time.
Invite-only alpha for up to 50 indie hackers. Not open yet: it opens when the first invites go out.
| DESTINATION | SERVICE | NETWORK | TOTAL |
|---|---|---|---|
| X (post + URL) | €0.10 | €0.20 | €0.30 |
| €0.10 | €0.00 | €0.10 | |
| Bluesky | €0.10 | €0.00 | €0.10 |
| Quote total | €0.50 | ||
Kill the bundle tax. Pay only when a call succeeds.
An indie hacker's agent posts a few times a week. A flat scheduler plan charges the same $29 whether it posts 8 times or 800. That gap is the bundle tax.
With Unbundle, one agent wallet (from €1) pays per call, in three steps:
quote_publish: Agent checks the exact price first. €0 charged.publish: Executes inside your monthly spend limit.get_status: Post links and a receipt. Failed destinations are refunded to your balance.
- Flat plan: $29.00 / month, used or not
- SOC.PUB ↘: €3.88, only for what posted ↘
- Post daily with a team? The flat plan wins. See below.
One agent wallet. An open market of unbundled capabilities.
SOC.PUB is the first listing. Next: more capabilities on the same wallet, and anyone can wrap their own API and sell it per call. We don't fear AI clones—we want to route to them. That market is the plan, not live yet; the board shows where it goes.
| TICKER | CAPABILITY | CLEARING PRICE |
|---|---|---|
| #001 SOC.PUB | Social publish | €0.10 → €0.04 ↘ |
| #002 EMAIL.VFY | Email verify | [proposed] |
| #003 SEO.SERP | Live SERP data | [proposed] |
| #004 WEB.SHOT | URL screenshot | [proposed] |
| #005 PDF.MD | PDF → Markdown | [proposed] |
| #006 YOUR.CAP | Wrap your API | [planned] |
- AI makes features cheap to clone. Good.
- List your own capability or undercut ours.
- Cheapest verified route wins the agent call ↘
When NOT to use us.
We post through each network's own API: Bluesky and LinkedIn cost us nothing, and X's per-post fee is passed through at cost. The €0.10 pays for the quote, the receipt, refunds and the spend limit. Post hundreds of times a month with a human team? A flat plan is cheaper. Use it. We would rather tell you than keep you.
| HOW YOU POST | CHEAPEST FIT |
|---|---|
| ≤ 3 channels, by hand | Buffer Free (€0/mo) |
| Daily human team studio | Postiz ($29/mo) |
| 1,000+ API posts/mo, own code | Post for Me ($10/mo) |
| Agent, a few times a week | SOC.PUB (€0.10 → €0.04 ↘) |
Run your monthly numbers.
€1 of credit covers 10 publishes at the first tier. Your agent stops automatically at the monthly spend limit you set.
| VOLUME BAND / PASS-THROUGH | FEE EACH |
|---|---|
| 1–20 publishes / mo | €0.10 |
| 21–100 publishes / mo | €0.07 ↘ (-30%) |
| 101+ publishes / mo | €0.04 ↘ (-60%) |
| Our service fee cap / mo | €15.00 max |
| X text / X URL (at cost) | €0.015 / €0.20 |
| Other networks / Failed call | €0.00 / refunded |
Unused balance is not refunded during the alpha. Failed destinations are refunded to your balance automatically.
Why we celebrate the death of SaaS moats.
Every week on X, founders mourn that AI can clone a $49/month SaaS feature in a weekend. Good. Software wants to reproduce. Let it.
For twenty years, useful capabilities were trapped inside bloated dashboards so vendors could charge $29–$99 a month in rent. Now agents do the work—and an agent doesn't need a dashboard. It needs one atomic capability, a price quote, and a receipt.
We are building the clearinghouse beneath subscriptions, starting with one capability that has to work: posting. When the market opens, if you clone a SaaS feature or wrap your own API and serve it cheaper and reliably, we won't block you—we'll list you on the board and route agent traffic to you. Here, a falling price (↘) is the show.
— Alex, The Unbundler ↘
- $29–$99/mo rent wall
- 98% unused shelfware
- mourn the AI clone
- €0.10 → €0.04/call ↘
- quote → receipt
- wrap & sell your own
- route to the clone

No code? The alpha is invite-only, for up to 50 indie hackers who run agents. Alex sends invites by hand.
Not live yet. The service opens when invites go out. Pay per post over x402, with no account, comes later in the alpha.
